How to get the Island of Elba

Elba Island, the largest island in the Tuscan Archipelago is about 10 km from the mainland; in recent years has become very easy to reach it. A series of highways and expressways allow to reach Piombino - natural port of departure for the island - with ease from the main cities of northern and central Italy. From Piombino to reach the port of Rio Marina in 45 minutes and the crossing of Portoferraio, the main town of the island, in one hour. By Car

From Genova: A12 highway, exit Rosignano take the road whose entrance
is very close and exit Venturina direction Piombino.
From Milano: highway A1 to Parma, then turning on the A15 to La Spezia,
then take the A12 and follow to Rosignano as for those coming from Genova.
From Bologna - Firenze: highway A1, exit at Firenze Signa then the SGC FI-PI-LI,
direction Livorno until Collesavetti then the A12 to Rosignano.
From Rome: A12 to Civitavecchia and then the SS Aurelia until Venturina highway to Piombino.

By plane

Elba is accessible by air through the airport which is located near Marina di Campo, in La Pila, connected with Pisa, Florence, Milan, Bologna, Bergamo, Zurich, Monaco di Baviera: www.elbafly.it

How to reach the rental

from Portoferraio: follow signs for Porto Azzurro - Capoliveri, after covering 12 km on your left an Agip petrol station, a few tens of meters and turn right to Capoliveri. We are the first store outside the village, on the right side of the road.
From Rio Marina: follow signs for Porto Azzurro and when you are there, to Portoferraio,
then at the traffic light, turn Left Capoliveri.
